These Fasteners are Made From A2 Stainless Steel Having Approximately (Not Exactly) 18% Chromium and 8% Nickle. The Term A2 "18-8" is Used Interchangeably to Describe Fasteners Made From 302 Stainless Steel.

A2 Stainless Steel has Superior Corrosioin Resistance and is Generally Non-Magnetic and is Hardenable by Cold working. Cold Working of the Part Can Induce Magnetic Properties Due to Working, But Has No Effect on the Corrosion Resistance of the Fasteners.
